Cycle Time Scatter Chart for Jira Dashboard

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms are between you and the Marketplace partner flowscope (referred to below as "we"), and they cover the Jira dashboard gadget Cycle Time Scatter Chart for Jira Dashboard (the "app") that you install from the Atlassian Marketplace. By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you are accepting them for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. What the app is

The app is a Jira dashboard gadget. For issues matched by a JQL filter that a Jira administrator configures on the gadget, it plots the cycle time of every work item that completed inside the selected time window, with 50/70/85/95th percentile lines. It reads, per issue, the issue key, the status transition history and the creation date, through the official Jira REST API using the read:jira-work scope and nothing else. All requests are made as the user who is viewing the gadget, so it can only ever show issues that the person looking at the dashboard is already allowed to see.

The app writes one short-lived cache record per configuration per user — keyed by the Atlassian account ID of the viewer, holding the computed result only, kept for 1 hour — into Atlassian's own Forge app storage. The app has no server, no database and no storage of its own, and it makes no outbound network requests to any host other than Atlassian's Jira API.

2. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the app inside the Atlassian cloud products you are licensed for, for as long as your subscription is active. You may not resell the app, or attempt to circumvent its licensing.

3. Plans, billing and refunds

Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are administered by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace terms. We do not invoice you directly, and we never receive your payment details. Current prices, including the user tiers they apply to, are published on the app's Marketplace listing.

4. Support

Support is provided on a best-effort basis by email at wangxydlut@gmail.com. We do not promise a response time or an availability level. The app is a dashboard gadget inside Jira and depends on Jira being available; when Jira is unavailable, so is the app.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it is error-free. The app plots cycle times computed from the status transition history Jira returns; it does not check whether the configured JQL filter means what you intended, and issues that the viewing user is not allowed to see are simply not shown — that is Jira's permission model working, not a defect. Where Jira reports incomplete or unusual history for an issue, the app reports the numbers Jira's history supports rather than filling gaps for you: an item that was reopened uses its last completion, an item that re-entered the start status uses its last entry, and an item created already sitting in the start status has no "entered the start status" event, so its clock starts at creation and it is counted separately. A percentile line is only drawn when there are enough samples for the number to mean something; below that threshold the line is omitted and the gadget says how many samples are needed. A percentile line summarizes how the current set of matched items is spread across cycle times; what that line should prompt you to do is a management judgement the app does not make.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may release new versions of the app, and may change these terms. A material change will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the updated terms.

8. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by removing the gadget from your dashboards and uninstalling the app from your site. Uninstalling also removes the app's Forge storage, including any cache entry that has not yet expired. We may stop distributing the app; if we do, Atlassian's rules govern what happens to installations that already exist.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
